What we don’t do

Improving the model

The “improve Human Quill” box is unticked by default. It is located in “Languages & settings” and applies to the texts you submit for as long as it stays ticked. If you tick it, each text and its rewrite are stored separately from your history, with a pseudonymous identifier that allows us to delete them on request. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the contact form: texts not yet used are then deleted. A model that has already been trained cannot “forget” a specific text.

Recipients

No one else has access to your data.

Cookies and local storage

They are strictly necessary for the service or for your preferences, so they do not require consent. Umami does not use cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing or portability, object to processing, and withdraw your consent. You can delete your account yourself, together with your history and the texts you gave for training, from your account menu (“Delete my account”). For anything else, write to us through the contact form: we reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, www.cnil.fr.

Minimum age

The service is intended for people aged 15 and over.
